Medical Tent Emergency

Through years of production and customer experience with the rapid deployment tent, we have succeeded in developing an inflatable medical tent that stands out from the rapid deployment tent primarily through its practical design, while retaining the basic attributes. The tent is made from fire-retardant materials, the synthetic fibers of which are certified according to fire protection class 1 (B1) and has water-repellent properties (ISO 4920, grade 5).

The emergency version of the medical tent is automatically equipped with two inflation valves. One is used for filling with electric pumps and the other inflation valve has a plug nipple inlet for filling with compressors or compressed air bottles. The emergency set is characterized by its design because it comes with predefined prints on the front, rear and side walls, so that all customers get their tent in the appropriate design of its respective emergency service or fire department but without any individual additions like town names.

The Individual Set differs from the Emergency Set because it is able to be customized from top to bottom. In addition to the free choice of material colors (from a predefined color range) for the separate components of the tent (roof, support structure, top panel, front panel, rear panel & side walls), the front, rear, and side panel variants can also be individually selected. It is also possible to print the roof and side panels with emblems, additional lettering, or other logos.

Straight-line tent shape for even more possible application

The pneumatic GYBE® medical tent with a floor space of around 14 m² is ideal for providing medical services underneath or for use as technical command and control center at accident sites. With its compact dimensions and low weight, it is easy to transport and quick to set up. Due to its linear shape, it offers a lot of covered space inside and can be expanded as required by connecting it to other tents to built entire tented villages.

Modular system

The modular construction of the tent allows for lightning-fast adaptation to the conditions of the next emergency case as well as to long-term changing requirements. The expansion options for the GYBE® medical tent range from groundsheets and tent-lights to additional weights in order to be optimally prepared for every deployment scenario. In addition, the tent roof as well as the front, back and side walls can be removed and replaced as required.

Tent extension

With the medical tent, GYBE® has constructed a tent for completely new areas of use. Despite very different designs, the linear-shaped tent and the dome-shaped rapid deployment tents from GYBE® can be combined with one another using connecting panels. Both the 4x4 meter and the 5x5 meter versions of the rapid deployment tent can be connected to the medical tent. Medical tents can also be extended to one another either laterally or frontally.

Construction of inflatable structure

The inflatable support structure of the medical tent consists of a robust outer skin made of Dacron polyester with a protective function and an airtight inner tube made of stretchable PU. Tested thousands of times by kitesurfers on the water, the construction has also proven itself through use in GYBE® rapid deployment tents for more than 10 years.

The One-Pump-System

The medical tent consists of seven air chambers at the inside. For any easy handling, the air chambers are connected to each other via bypass hoses, so that the inner tubes are not filled separately, but fill automatically one after the other. That leads to an easy installation which can be handled by just one person, even in hectic deployment scenarios.

The inflatable medical tent can be filled with both electric pumps and compressed air and can therefore be set up in up to 4 minutes. The straight tent walls lead to valuable space for treatment tables, beds and other equipment.

Scope of delivery

The scope of delivery of the GYBE® medical tent includes the tent in a transport bag, two side walls and two front and rear walls, two top panels, and a heating opening in one of the side walls. For ballasting, four simple sandbags and four additional top sandbags are also included, which are supplemented by guy ropes and a small repair kit.
